January 10th: Happy New Year
Happy New Year to you all! We hope your first week of 2014 has gone well and that you haven't been too hard on yourself if you've already broken some of them resolutions.
2013 seemed to be a struggle for a lot of us, but the one thing that kept putting a smile on our face were the shows we played, the people we met and the relationships that seemed to grow stronger throughout 2013. From PEI to Vancouver Island, we played more shows than we ever had before. We played to 32000 people at Macmahon stadium and to 3 people in Val Des Monts and each night we considered ourselves lucky that we got to share these songs together and with you. Thanks to everyone who came to a show, listened with an open heart, shared the songs, said a few kind words, made fun of the way I say Banana and gave us a good meal, bed to sleep in and animals to cuddle with.
We hope 2014 treats you kindly and we look forward to seeing some of you throughout the year, our next show is:
Saturday 18th January at The Northern Lights Folk Club here in Edmonton
